World Health Assembly – 2026

The WFICC Executive Committee represented the organisation as members of the WHO Acute Care Action Network (ACAN) at an in-person convening in Geneva on the implementation of the WHO ECO Resolution. As the Emergency, Critical and Operative Care (ECO) resolution transitions to a global strategy, the meeting generated an important “call to action” for international organisations to develop and implement specific projects. The WFICC expects to play a leadership role shaping and delivering the response from the global intensive and critical care community.
