Sarah Livesay

Sarah Livesay is a Professor and Associate Dean of Rush University College of Nursing and works as a Nurse Practitioner in Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, USA. Dr Livesay was elected to the Office of Secretary General in August 2023. She has specific expertise in stroke and neurocritical clinical care and is the current President of the Neurocritical Care Society, the second nurse to hold this distinction in the history of the society. Dr. Livesay has authored over 55 peer-reviewed manuscripts, co-edited two books on stroke care and has worked internationally with physician and nurse leaders to teach neurocritical care nursing concepts and to improve systems of care in multiple countries.
