Nestor Raimondi

Nestor Raimondi is the Head of the Intensive Care Division at the Hospital Fernandez in Buenos Aires, Argentina where he completed his fellowship in the specialty more than 30 years ago. He has fulfilled many leadership roles within the Sociedad Argentina de Terapia Intensiva (SATI) including serving as President of the society from 2013 to 2015. He has been an active contributor to the growth and development of the Federacion Pan Americana e Iberica de Medicina Critica y Terapia Intensiva (FEPIMCTI) and was President of the organisation from 2011 to 2016. In September 2025, Dr Raimondi was elected to serve as President-Elect from 2025 to 2027 and will assume the Presidency at the 18th World Congress in India in September 2027.
