Yenisey Cruz, MD

Yenisey Cruz, MD, is an emergency medicine specialist and medical educator
with a strong commitment to advancing emergency medicine and critical care
education in Belize and internationally. She is actively involved in medical
training, quality improvement, and healthcare systems strengthening, with a
particular focus on emergency and critical care capacity building in resource-
limited settings. Dr. Cruz collaborates with national and international
organizations on educational initiatives, faculty development, and global health
projects aimed at improving patient outcomes and strengthening clinical practice.
Her role as WFICC Ambassador includes the development and delivery of the
BCCC course in coordination with the WHO.
