Alison Fox-Robichaud MDAmbassadorDr. Alison Fox-Robichaud, is Professor of Medicine, the HamiltonHealth Sciences Chair in Sepsis Research at McMaster University andHead of Service for the Critical Care Response Team, and Director ofMedical Education at Hamilton Health Sciences. She is the ScientificDirector of Sepsis Canada. She has over 160 peer reviewed publicationsreflecting broad academic interests including animal models of sepsis,translational medicine, health services research and clinical trials. Aleader in the critical care community, she was president of the CanadianCritical Care Society (2015-2018) and chair of the Canadian Critical CareExamination board (2011-2017). She was the organizing chair of the 17thWorld Congress of Intensive and Critical Care. Internationally, she is amember of Global Sepsis Alliance board, and the President-Elect of theInternational Society for Rapid Response Systems. She has beenhonored with a King Charles III Coronation medal for her national sepsisleadership. Her role as WFICC Ambassador includes development ofSepsis related materials and guidelines, and liaison with the GlobalSepsis Alliance.Back to Ambassadors
