Dr Kapil Zirpe is the Head of the Department of Neurocritical Care at the Ruby Hall Clinic, Grant Medical Foundation in Pune, India.
He is Past-President of the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine, Council member of the Asia-Pacific Association of Critical Care Medicine, President of the Association of Critical Care Societies in the SAARC Region (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation) and Council Member of the Asia chapter of the Neurocritical Care Society. He is the Founding Secretary of the Sepsis Forum of India. Dr Zirpe is an Editorial Board Member of the Indian Journal of Critical Care Medicine (IJCCM) and Indian Journal of Cardiac Critical Care (IJCC).
Following the award of his MBBS degree in 1990, Dr Zirpe was inducted to the Fellowship of the Indian College of Critical Care Medicine in 2013 and the American College of Critical Care Medicine in 2016. He is the Editor of 5 books, author of 21 chapters, 12 research articles, 40 publications and been invited to deliver more than 250 lectures.
